A GREAT DAY OUT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY !

Come along to the Tarbert Seafood Festival, for the whole experience book accommodation and arrive Friday afternoon or early evening, watch the crowning and stay for the whole weekend, take a day off work on Monday so you can enjoy the whole event!!

Saturday is the main day with loads going on, all set around Tarbert's wonderful natural harbour including live cooking demonstrations featured Scotland's best known chef Nick Nairn and a selection of local chefs, taste the food that is cooked in a personal and intimate environment like you will never experience anywhere else!!

A large market selling local produce, crafts, confectionary, toys and of course seafood will be open from 10am on Saturday morning stretching around the harbour side.

Childrens rides will be provided by Stewarts Amusements with kids trampolines, football games, large slides and much much more - all the fun of the fair the whole weekend!!

The traditional Seafood parade will give you a chance to see the Seafood Queen and princesses as she leads the parade featuring floats and dressed up children along the main street and back in Tarbert, Loch Fyne. Live locally? Then why not enter a float, you dont have to live in the village to take part. Prizes for the best floats!!

Cooking demonstrations from 2pm at the harbour side past the Loch Fyne Gallery featuring cooking from Nick Nairn and local chefs. Unique viewing!! (TIME TBC)

Outdoor bistro, buy a glass of wine or champagne and sit outdoors on the quay side, perhaps have a barbequed langoustine as you watch boats arrive and depart in the harbour.

Street entertainment for kids including face painting and childrens entertainers.

Live seafood! Not been up close to large live crabs, lobsters, octopus and many other seafood and shellfish creatures then take a look in the live seafood exhibition by Tarbert Shellfish - its a real crowd pleaser !!

Live music during the afternoon, and music in the hotels around the harbour. More information available soon!
