Top chefs from local establishments demonstrate their skills and let you taste their professional prepared and cooked delights!
What time does the cookery start?
The cookery starts at 1.30pm and this will run for the duration of the afternoon until about 4pm. We encourage you to get an overnight stay, have a wonderful meal in the village and hang around for the music on the Sunday.
Where are the cookery demonstrations?
Simply follow the road for several hundred yards from the crowning of the seafood queen and at the far end of the fishing quay where the boats are tied up will be cooking demonstrations and seafood stalls in abundance.
Can I ask the chefs question?
Yes, the chefs will be too happy to share their expertise with you, but please make sure the questions are sort and relevant as not to distract.
Can I taste all the food?
Yes, you will be able to taste all the food cooked by the chefs. You do so at your own risk and of course there is limited amounts to go around. The food will be divided up by the fantastic staff.
Is the cookery on Saturday and Sunday?
The cookery demonstrations are only on the Saturday, but it is for the whole afternoon so that as many people get to go in and have a look.
How much does it cost to get in?
Entry is free for the cookery but we would like a small donation to help fund this annual event. Please give generously as the Seafood Festival is a non-profit making charity working on behalf of the community.
Can I leave feedback or comments?
