COOKERY DEMONSTRATIONS

Seafood is a speciality of the west coast, with Tarbert being one of the few registered herring ports across Scotland. The hotels and restaurants are famed for selling fresh seafood, and there is a certain skill to preparing and cooking it.

Nick Nairn, probably Scotland's best known chef who has appeared at many events and on television shows knows a thing or two about seafood and about cooking, so why not experience a cooking demonstration to remember, with his impressive skills delivered in a professional way you have not seen anything like it before anywhere else!

Nick will be joined by a line up of impressive chefs from local hotels and restaurants and will help you choose where you want to eat that evening.

Details of the chefs, establishments and items being cooked will be uploaded and available in advance of the cookery.

RESERVE YOUR SEATS

If you are travelling from a distance and want to make sure that you can get a seat at the demonstrations, we are reserving the first front to rows on a first come first save basis. The cooking is free to the public however we are charging £10 per seat to reserve the front two rows (32 seats approx) should any one wish to do so, there will be a further 64 seats approx available further back and standing space for those who are not fortunate to have a seats.
